Riam Shammaa, MD, Founder and CEO of INTELLiSTEM Technologies, talks about some of the hurdles his company has to overcome to develop a vaccine for COVID-19, during the lockdown.
As Dr. Shammaa explains in this video, one of the more surprising problem they had to overcome was taking into account the delays in transportation, especially across borders, that can make a potential vaccine dead upon arrival.
However, Dr. Shammas, like many researchers in this field, is using the problems they have encountered as a learning opportunity moving forward.
