Fabry disease an X-linked genetic disorder that leads to the buildup of globotriaosylceramide in the body’s cells that can lead to a plethora of problems in multiple organs (eyes, skin, heart, kidneys, etc). The disease can also be very painful, as Dr. Goker-Alpan explains in this video.
