Femida Gwady-Sridhar, PhD, founder of Pulse Infoframe talks about the need for better collaboration between patient groups and researchers in regard to collecting and using data more effectively and efficiently.
“For several years I did research in cardiology disease and oncology. And one of the biggest challenges I found was that people don’t share data and they don’t collaborate. My colleagues would have their own database and their own registry,” said Dr. Gwady-Sridhar, adding, “I set out to develop a paradigm to enable collaboration across researchers but also to start to include biotech companies, pharmaceutical companies and patient advocacy groups.”
“The whole idea of Pulse Infoframe is around creating an ecosystem for key stakeholders (patient advocacy groups, clinicians, researchers, pharma, and biotech) to share data.”
