Dylan Simon, Newborn Screening and Diagnostics Policy Manager at Everylife Foundation, discusses the organization’s event, Newborn Screening Bootcamp.

The Newborn Screening Bootcamp is an annual event geared towards bringing all parties involved in newborn screening together to learn more about the process and how to advance it.

Last year, the bootcamp was held as a five-part training series which covered topics such as: how to facilitate a pilot study, how to build coalitions, navigating the RUSP nomination process, and preparing infrastructure to address challenges.
