Transcription:
My name is Monica Gadelha. I am from Brazil. I work at the Federal University of Rio De Janeiro, and I also left The Brain State Institute of Rio De Janeiro. I did my PhD in acromegaly in Chicago, at the University of North Chicago. This was from ’97-’99, and since then, I have been working in acromegaly.
I worked in many clinical trials in acromegaly, but also in the translational part of acromegaly. I studied the pathogenesis of the disease and also biomarkers of the response to medical therapy. So, I work in the clinical aspect, but also in the lab in acromegaly.
