Nasha Fitter, Vice President of Rare Disease at Ciitizen, discusses the collaboration between Ciitizen and RARE-X which will improve patient outcomes for rare diseases.

Ciitizen is a healthcare technology company that helps patients get full control of their medical records to access better treatment options including participation in research and clinical trials. RARE-X is a collaborative platform for patient controlled and structured data collection, global data sharing, and large data analysis.

As Ms. Fitter explains, partnership between these companies will not only allow RARE-X patients to easily take advantage of Ciitizen’s healthcare data infrastructure platform, but will allow biotech companies and academic researchers to collect multiple data sets about a rare disease population. Therefore, this collaboration should lead to more efficient treatment development for rare disease communities.
